*READY TO USE – GOLDEN TANDOORS are half done i.e., fired to a set point in controlled heat before they are packed. This ensures that the tandoor clay pot is almost ready to use from the time you have it. No more waiting for days to cure the tandoor oven or use oil or spinach etc. for preparation. Though we cannot hold the chef’s that want to use oil etc. for pre-preparation of the tandoor as we believe they know best, but we only advise a few hours of slow heat to each tandoor before running the tandoor unit on full heat for cooking. Saline water treatment depending on your usage is all that is required on these heavy clay pots in use in full running conditions making breads all day long every day. Read first firing instructions in the user and safety manual supplied with each tandoor.
